FACEBOOK

I had heard of Facebook a while before I joined and always thought it was for high school students. But at the request of some friends I decided to join the revolution. I was surprised to see so many people I knew on it. And every time I checked my page there were requests from friends from past lives who were looking to reconnect. It's facinating to me to have my own little portal to the world. People I probably would never have seen again, are now once again a part of my life. Old high school friends, old bosses, old boyfriends and just those people you just somehow lost track of. It's quite addictive just waiting for that next unexpected note or request from someone you haven't seen in years. I could do without some of the crazy applications and requests to do stuff....take this test, poke this person, send this person some fliar...let's not get carried away. My inbox much becomes like the trunk of my car......I just ignore all the stuff that has somehow piled up until I can no longer close the door. I should probably read some of that stuff, but that would take effort. I could also do without the "you've been tagged in a photo" thing. People, Don't tag photos of a person when it's a horrible photo and should be burned. For example: when your friend is obviously waisted and sticking her tounge out at one person while simutaneously trying to talk to another person...don't tag the photo! Unless you hate that person...in which case....tag away! How about some more useful applications. Like "this guy is single and wants to date you" tags or maybe "your girlfriend is cheating on you" tags. But all in all the facebook thing is pretty fun. Off to feed my addiction now....
